Eleven years old arrested for raping three years child

Shillong, Nov 4: Eleven years old minor was arrested Sunday by South West Khasi Hills district police for allegedly raping of a three-year old child in Mawkyrwat. According to the police the boy was a habitual substance user..

The minor was arrested after Dr WL Narry, Medical & Health Officer, Mawkyrwat CHC had lodged an FIR after the doctor did medical examination of the three years old child.

The child was bleeding profusely when she was taken to the CHC even as her parents were not aware that she was sexually abused. It was only after examination that the doctor detected that the child was raped.

Five days after the complaint, the police arrested the minor. –By Out Reporter
