SBI cheque to Assam Rifles

SHILLONG, NOV 29: The State Bank of India (SBI) presented a cheque of Rs 7, 99, 500 lakhs to Maj Gen RK Gupta, Officiating Director General of Assam Rifles as contribution for essential medical equipment for Assam Rifles Nodal Hospital, Mantripukhri (Imphal) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).  In a presentation ceremony at Directorate General Assam Rifles headquarter, the SBI team under Bimal Debroy, Regional Manager at Shillong presented a cheque as a token of contribution towards upgradation of nodal hospital at Mantripukhri to also providing medical cover to troops deployed in far flung inhospitable areas of north east. He reassured the elite force for continued contribution of SBI to such noble cause and promise to  take up the welfare of troops as its responsibility.
