SHILLONG, OCT 31: The disbanded breakaway faction of the Achik National Volunteer Council – the ANVC(B)- on Monday accused the state government of not inviting its members to the recently held skill development programme for surrendered cadres. “Former members of ANVC(B) were not invited to the skill development programme organised by state goverment because they wanted to leave us out of the rehabilitation package,” former outfit general secretary Jakrik Momin said in a statement on Monday.
Alleging that the state has been delaying the packages for last two years, Momin said, “They continue to manipulate the packages for the surrendered cadres.”He added that ANVC(B) cadres did not surrendered but came forward to join mainstream after signing the Agreed Text for Settlement.-By Our Reporter
