Irking behaviour of nurse

TURA, AUG 4: A nurse allegedly from Baghmara Civil Hospital has drawn sharp criticism for “misbehaving” with a patient. A student of JNV School Baghmara Leniker Ch. Marak, who was brought to the hospital on August 1 for emergency, had to face setback as hospital authorities did not bother to attend the patient.

Marak’s father said that doctor was not available and a nurse, who was attending his child behaved in a manner, which was not expected. “My child had collapse in school, so we brought him to the hospital, the nurse had no sympathy for my child and misbehaved and scolded us with harsh words for reasons best known to her”, the child’s father said.

He said that the nurse used words, which is not acceptable from somebody, whose job is to attend to people in distress. Marak’s family has sought stringent punishment for the nurse, whom they have identified. They have also decided to approach health minister, so that action is taken against the nurse.
