SHILLONG, MAY 22: Sixty eight air warriors comprising of officers, airmen and family members, undertook the historic and one of the most popular trekking routes in Meghalaya, the ‘David Scott’s Trail’, a 16-Kms stretch from Ladmawphlang village to Mawphlang, on Sunday.
The trek was flagged off by Air Vice Marshal Sudhir Rai, of HQ EAC, IAF. Adventure and sports activities invariably go hand-in-hand in the Air Force way of life reinvigorating camaraderie and espirt-de-corps amongst air warriors.
The trek let the participants relive a slice of Meghalaya history while offering them a glimpse into the life of Khasi villagers amidst expansive meadows, cascading waterfalls and running streams.-By Our Reporter
