SHILLONG, MAY 11: Meghalaya governor V Shanmuganathan had an interactive session with the differently-abled persons at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. Students from Jyoti Sroat School, Roilang Livelihood Academy, Mary Rice Centre, School and Centre for the Hearing Handicapped Children, ASHA School, Dwar Jingkyrmen and Agency for Sustainable Development Initiatives (KJP Synod Sepngi) participated in the programme.

“Each and every one of you is special, you are the inspiration and your confidence gives hope to others” said V. Shanmuganathan in his interaction with the children.

Additional Chief Secretary, Hector Marwein, Principal Secretary MS Rao, Commissioner and Secretary of Social Welfare T. Dkhar, Secretary and Director, Social Welfare H. M. Shangpliang and Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, C. Kharkongor were among others present at the programme.
