SHILLONG, MAR 23: Opposition leader Donkupar Roy on Wednesday suggested that the issue of electricity and water supply should be taken into consideration while construction health centres in the state.
According to him, the problem of electricity and water supply is one of the problems usually faced by the sub-centres and Public Health Centres (PHCs) in the state.
He was raising a supplementary during the last day of the assembly session when health minister AL Hek replied that when the electricity and water supply are available, the Syntung sub centre will be made operationalized.
The minister also informed that the issue related electricity and water supply is being taken into consideration before framing the estimate for setting up sub centres and public health centres.-By Our Reporter
