Shillong, Oct 8: The Institute of Social & Cultural Studies and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies(MAKAIAS) and Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, Shillong will organize an Exhibition of Photographs from 10-13 October and also a international seminar.
The exhibition of photographs titled “Glimpses of Bangladesh” is of famous photographer Arindam Mukherjee and the International seminar on the theme “Indo-Bangladesh Cultural Relations” will be held at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture in Shillong, on October 10 at 10:30 am.
Governor of Meghalaya Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary will inaugurate the exhibition and will also be the chief guest at the seminar.
Dr BB Dutta, former Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, Shillong will deliver the keynote address.
Eminent participants who will be taking part in the seminar are Dr Glen Kharkongor, Vice Chancellor,Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, Dr. Sreeradha Dutta, Director, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, Dr. KC.
