SHILLONG, MAY 7:A pan shop and a government vehicle was set on fire on Thursday night after unidentified miscreants hurled petrol bomb after the KSU president’s arrest during the afternoon. The shop in Polo market was burnt down by a group of five miscreants after they hurled petrol bomb and fled away and veterinary Bolero vehicles was also burned in similar fashion, East Khasi hills SP M Kharkhrang informed.
The Bolero was burnt down by miscreants near Lumdienjri police station.
Kharkrang however said no one was injured during the attack. Meanwhile, police are on the job to hunt down the perpetrators behind the attack. Police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the sudden attack on business establishments and vehicles by the miscreants.- By Our Reporter
