Cylinder blast injures four

SHILLONG, APR 14: Four persons were injured after a vehicle carrying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) exploded because of leakage in some of the gas cylinders, police informed. The incident took place at Tura, West Garo hills district on Tuesday morning.

“Four persons were injured when some of the leak gas cylinders carried by the vehicle exploded,” a police official informed. According to him, the vehicle without noticing the leakage of the LPG products was heading towards Danakgre area for distribution.

However, on reaching near civil hospital, the cylinder burst, police said.  The four injured persons were immediately admitted in the civil hospital for medical attention. Police said investigation is on.- From Our Reporter
