Sanbor doles out schemes

SHILLONG, NOV 13: Meghalaya deputy speaker Sanbor Shullai, a legislator of South Shillong constituency, handed over work orders amounting to Rs 1.23 crore for implementing various developmental schemes including financial help for poor BPL families and students.

The sanctioned work orders were handed over to the secretary and members of the Monitoring Cum Implementation Committee of 19^th South Shillong LA constituency at a meeting held on Wednesday.

The work orders are meant for implementation of the various developmental schemes including financial help and support to the poor BPL  students and families, physically handicapped, disabled, cancer patients and local ngos’ in collaboration with traditional institutions under the constituency, committee secretary A Marwein informed.- By Our Reporter
