SHILLONG, OCT 21: More than 800 bottles of phensedyle were seized by the BSF while they were being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh in the last few days.
Smugglers are using different disguised techniques to smuggle the phensedyle from India to Bangladesh but BSF troops are alert and well trained to foil such attempts of smugglers, BSF officials said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the BSF statement, smuggled phensedyles are sold to the drug addicts of Bangladesh at high price.
Besides, the BSF also seized 33 wooden log, 300 bottles of liquor, 4 cattle heads, and other contraband items, worth value over 10 lakhs while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh on Meghalaya border with Bangladesh during last week.
