Weigh bridge looted

SHILLONG, APR 29: Armed miscreants looted a weigh bridge at Sarangma village in North Garo Hills district on Tuesday. Police said the incident took place at around 4 pm, when a group of 12 armed miscreants went to Momin Weigh Bridge at Sarangma, fired five rounds in the air and looted Rs 50,000 from the cash counter and fled away. No casualty was reported and police are investigating into the incident.- By Our Reporter
