Rangdajied junior departs for Manchester Cup

SHILLONG, JAN 13: The Rangdajied United FC U-15 team departed for Delhi on Monday to participate in the Manchester United Premier Cup (MUPC) 2014.

Sixteen boys from the Rangdajied United Youth Development side will participate in the tournament.

Earlier on Sunday, the team had a jersey unveiling program at the JN Stadium, where the team officials blessed them and wished them luck.

In their built up for the MUPC, the Rangdajied United FC U-15 team had played a friendly with the Shillong Lajong’s U-15 side. Rangdajied junior clinched the friendly by defeating Lajong junior by 2-0. Mewan Pynshngain Kharsyntiew and D.Carlos Challam scored the goals.
