SHILLONG, JAN 12: The United Democratic Party (UDP) released the name of H Lyngdoh as its official candidate to contest from Mawkyrwat constituency in the upcoming district council elections slated next month.
“We have decided to release the first name of the second list of candidates,” UDP general secretary AF Dkhar informed on Sunday. He said the remaining names of the second list would be release by the partysoon.
Earlier, the UDP had released six names in its first list – Martamlin Pyrbot from Jaiaw constituency, Hamletson Dohling from Mylliem constituency, Gervasis Kharmujai from Mawlai constituency, Anthony Nongbri Malki-Laitumkhrah constituency, Wanpli Kharmawphlang from Nongthymmai constituency and Edarstar Nongbri from Nongkrem constituency.- By Our Reporter
